I majored in Information Technology (Web Development) at Rochester Institute of Technology. There always has been two sides to my life. An engineering side and a creative side and to satisfy both, I started doing web development and photography.
After working nearly 3 years at Liberty Mutual as a front-end developer, it became obvious to me that there is a huge need for user experience (UX) designers and even though UX has been an afterthought for some bigger companies, they have started to realize the value in it. The reality is if they make the users happy, that translates to more users and that ultimately means more revenue. I want to act as a user (experience) advocate to make sure user needs are being addressed as well as business needs.
My approach in terms of creating products is WHY? HOW? WHAT? first, you need to find out why you are creating this product, how is it going to change users lives and finally what is it that you are working on? most of the times companies focus on WHAT, HOW, and WHY. If your product resembles this mindset, you are more likely to be successful. "people don't buy what you do; people buy why you do it" -Simon Sinek
Lastly, I have been a nomad, in some sense. I tend to move within 2 or 3 years. Are you interested working with me? or want to talk about your city to convince me move there? let's get in touch.
